The Shadow Technologies website has been undergoing substantial
updates throughout the summer of 2007. These updates have taken far
longer than originally anticipated, but the majority of the site is now
complete. All that remains is
the population of the gallery categories, a number of which look rather sparse
– a job which we will complete over several months so please check back

in military, aviation & wildlife photography.
This is NOT your ordinary photography site! Why? Well, we adore animals, we love
birds and we even like those creepy crawlies that make many people
cringe; we have a passion for
anything that flies, moves about on caterpillar tracks, or is painted grey
and plies the world’s oceans!
So what do we do about it?
We make sure we have a camera with us and we take pictures, lots of
pictures – pictures provided here for you !
Looking for an image of your favourite parrot for your
computer desktop? Want an
action shot of a modern fighter jet pushing itself to the limit? Maybe a sedate airliner flying
off into the sunset for promotional purposes? Perhaps you’re a modeller who wants weathering details
on a M4A3E8 Sherman? Then look
no further, for you have come to the right place…
Our images are all in digital format and are available
at high resolutions with the vast majority of the images at a minimum of 6
megapixel (mp), and many at over 12mp; that means they print superbly on
larger paper sizes.
Images can be sent to your email address or copied
onto CD/DVD for a small fee; a professional printing service is also
available.
For personal use, ie. as desktop wallpaper or to
print out yourself: The images
are free – if you like them and are in a position to make a donation
then it would be appreciated as running this website does cost a fair bit
each year, but there is absolutely no obligation for you to do so.
Commercial or media use: Pricing is dependant on individual customer
requirements, but we are very cheap and flexible, especially when compared
to many of our competitors. We
often accept magazine subscriptions or a copy or two of published works in
exchange for publishing permission – Zoos and event organisers can also get
around us with a couple of free tickets!
There is a limit to how
many images can be practically displayed online, so if you cannot see what
you are looking for then please contact us – our library now exceeds one
million images and is rapidly expanding!
